The famous 9th hole is the start of the "Lions Den" stretch of holes 9, 10 and 11. The par 4 measuring 507 yards from the championship tee is a challenging hole on any given day. Ernie's answer to the "Eisenhower Tree" frames the middle of the fairway which leads to the approach into an elevated green protected by numerous slopes and a links like swale short of the green.

The 6th hole - New South Wales Golf Club
The famous 6th arguably the most spectacular hole on the course measures 154m off the members tee to a testing 186m from the championship across the foot bridge.
Teeing off from the Cape Banks headland the hole is played across the edge of little bay to a green protected by swales and two pot bunkers. A truly spectacular hole.

The 17th is part of the "Amen Corner" of the newest course that Dubai has to offer. A Par3 stroke index 2, the hole measures a testing 203yds off the Championship tee and is most often played into a hurting breeze. A true test at the closing stages of a round, it is well know for sinking many a good round.
