About Me

I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. While at Rondebosch Boys High School I studied art under two well-known Cape Town artists, Diana Page and Andrew Putter. 

 

Studying realism and impressionism and the old masters I developed a realism style of painting during my High School years which I continue to this today. Post school I went on to complete my BComm Degree at the University of Cape Town as well as completing a few worldwide painting commissions.

 

2004 saw me embark on my flying career and sadly I had to put away the brushes except for a brief spell in 2012.

 

I have been living in the UAE since 2015 flying the Airbus for a Middle Eastern Airline.

The global pandemic shutdown in 2020 enabled me to once again rekindle my painting this time on a more fulltime basis.
